Would you guys say that the 9MM will be a very discussed caliber in 2021?
I predict it will be.
Now we have the hammer fired semi autos AKA the 1911 on the forefront as being the dangerous villain in many peoples lives while the striker fired is safe even for a doofus like me. It looks like that will be the topic for awhile.
But conversations written or typed or spoken will quickly revert back to the superior superiority the 9MM MIRACULOUS FARCE over all others from now on into the far, far, far, far, far distant future.

I think a planning man realizes that there're likely to be more legislation.
Hi-cap is a favorite boogey man of Dem administrations.
If a hi-cap ban comes again, current hi-caps will become very expensive under a grandfather situation or all out illegal.
Understanding that the American gun owner is likely to simply roll over for new legislation- I'd suggest buy your 1911's now before supply/demand drives the price up higher. We're well past the point of when we should have invoked 2A to get the boot off our necks, I dont forsee a mag ban being the tipping point just yet.
45 or 9mm - if relegated to the same capacity, I prefer 45.

Yes, American police agencies mostly use 9x19 and most will choose what police and military chose to use. I like it for couple of reasons: very small gun size is possible and ammo is inexpensive and easy to locate with large choice in variety.
