Whether or not I like a particular song, I really like the way she approaches it. Alba Armengou is a teenager in Spain, and has been part of the Sant Andreu jazz band since she was 8. She's just an exceptional singer - got some Billie Holiday goin' on, even as she's singing in Portuguese, Spanish, French, or English. She's also damned good with a trumpet, though she approaches it differently than I would: What these kids do in this one is unbelieveable. The harmonies are tough as hell, & they nail 'em.
