Favorites are favorites for many differing reasons, and usually reflect something in the tastes - and often the needs - of the one choosing. Well be it.
Alison not only plays a few instruments well, but her voice is pure and she does not try to go beyond her natural range. She is a listener as well, and sings effectively with others - of several types. Alison's rendering of many, many touching and inspiring songs - not to mention the exciting - seems driven by a bunch of real-life experience and empathy. Certainly a favorite here.
