Would a 1-9.5 twist barrel in a 7mm mag stabilize a 195 gr Berger bullet? I’m picking up a bergera hmr 7mag and would like to try these but not certain if the twist rate is fast enough. Anyone tried this?

Depending on the atmospheric conditions, barely. Input your specifics here to find out for yourself: https://bergerbullets.com/twist-rate-calculator/

The 180 would be a better fit

The 180 would be a better fit Agreed. There are better twist rates for the 195, and better bullets for the 1:9.5 7mag. You'd have a tough time making them worth your while, as you'll lose a significant amount of BC due to marginal stability as the calculator that Jordan posted will show.

Ok, I was kind of afraid of that. I do have 180s that I was using before I switched to the 168s in my other 7mag.
