I'm bored and really enjoyed seeing some high end Mausers in the other thread. So you define "nicest" and then show the top three of your collection. You go first... . Don't be shy Whitebird... this thread is right in your wheelhouse... We know he's having a hard time deciding. All of his rifles are "nice"... Just sayin.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Very nice indeed. All of them. To say it with Tony Soprano: Do they have a name or shall we give them one?

My nicest one is a Nosler Liberty that is in its 5th month at Nosler getting repaired. Once my second nicest came back from Christensen Arms repair center, it worked great. My third nicest, a Remington 5R 223, has also done well since I got it back from the Remington repair department. My cheap little Savage LWH has been extraordinary since day one, but it's not nice. What happened to the Nosler? I've heard a lot of good things but never shot one. It was very difficult to close the bolt on factory ammo and it was keyholing at 50 yards. At this point I wouldn't recommend anyone buy one of their rifles.

Very nice indeed. All of them. To say it with Tony Soprano: Do they have a name or shall we give them one? The one with the truck is a .404 Jeffery. #2 is a Dakota M 76 7mm Dakota. #3 is a Dumoulin action 7x57. The gunsmith did all the work except for checkering. He also made the .404 Jeffery.

Nicest to me is best wood. Of my guns, the 358 Win off a Mauser wins hands down.
......the occasional hunter wielding a hopelessly inaccurate rifle, living by the fantastical rule that this cartridge can deliver the goods, regardless of shot placement or rifle accuracy. The correct term for this is minute of ego.

Barretts and rebarreled Kimbers. I like wood stocks but haven’t had one in years.

Jeeper Cripes! even if I knew how to attach pics, I wouldn't after seeing Whitbirds rifles. Those are some unbelievable boom sticks!

Other than Huntsman22, it looks like synthetics need not apply.

The best I have is a Browning ABolt 22 LR. Very nice wood on it. Sorry, no pictures. Nothing compared to the previous pictures. Those are some beautiful rifles. Post it up! I've got one of those, too....

Not the caliber of some of the above, but I’m pretty fond of my two Kimber Classic Selects. .30-06 And my favorite, .257 Roberts Falling blocks have bolts in them, right? My Hornet, not fancy, but fun.
