all that is bad and arguable, but the latest trend is truly scarey:

- we have apple, Google and now Amazon, acting intentionally to stop competition for the free expression of ideas. Whine all you want about moderation policies etc. You'd be wrong. Parler has them. They got to big to fast, but are making adjustments. Yes, Google and Apple stores have the right to remove things from their stores and Amazon has the right to refuse the use of Amazon Web Services, but ONLY because they have not been deemed monopolies. Regardless the move to silence "others" from your view is scary

- We now have elected members of congress wanting to expel those that challenged the election results? Really, it's IN THE CONSTITUTION TO ALLOW AND SUPPORT THIS CHALLENGE. Hell the riot probably SAVED them time as fewer people stood up for future states and they had to stop the discussion on AZ

- We have elected officials "building lists" to get revenge

- We have congress threatening the VP to invoke the 25th or they will impeach? Really, blackmail?

- we have congress moving to impeach, again, when the president will be gone before it happens and the senate, even the new senate, won't get the "guilty" votes, all so he can't run again, when he's 78?

- We have the speaker of the house, the number 3 person of power, going behind the CiC's back to the military to try to get nuclear launch codes away

- We have delusional people wanting martial law??

None of this will start the healing of this country - which has been breaking for at least the last 12 years. If you think we are incurably broken, then so be it. Above is how we have to go, one way or another, and god help us.

If you think we can be fixed, we have to get back to where ideas can be discussed, then....

If Trump resigns, which I doubt, Pence should pardon him, and move on

If Biden was smart, he'd get in office next week, pardon Trump and move on

We've become a nation of nazi's, both sides wanting nothing more than to destroy anyone with a different view.

And we have no Justice Department, and haven’t for the past 12 years.

No we're not a nation of nazis. Those people reside in the democrat party completely and as we've seen many in the republican party. That's a very small portion of our nation. For those of us that want to abide by the Constitution and Bill of Rights we have the high moral ground at every aspect in life. It's those that are trying to undermine and destroy our republic that are the nazi. A republic does not rely on a majority either. Those that are elected have cast off the oath to uphold the Constitution. They are traitors. They should be treated as such.

You are so wrong if you think those of us that want to abide by our founding documents can compromise with these people and have a union. We've bent over backwards for them and it's not helped yet and never will. If you want to claim the title of nazi use on yourself but not me.

Yep, happening just like we said it would. And they wonder why folks are pissed. They forgot that Americans are pretty ingenious and can come up with a whole lotta way to fug with ya. You can forget talk, the can has been opened.

We do have a DOJ and its main interest seems to be prosecuting the people involved in last week's riot in the Capitol. Unlike the rioters who destroyed billions of dollars worth of property and whose actions led to many deaths in the summer and fall, the people in the Capitol riot will get the book thrown at them. I don't object to them being prosecuted, but the double standard is pretty incredible.

And of course the DOJ did nothing to seriously investigate election irregularities.

It can be argued exactly how it happened, but the govt has become all-powerful despite the constitution. The answer to all the problems, even if it takes a little digging to get there, is to reduce govt power. And again the how can be argued.

So in your mind what has happened can be fixed with discussion? And the ability to have said discussion being taken away is the scary part. Well Bob when the election was stolen and given to the Chicom puppet and the Supreme court/Congress refused to "discuss" and take action then discussion is no longer going to do a damn thing to fix this. If Trump does not call for martial law Biden invoking the insurrection act will be the beginning of hostilities. Why you think any of the leftist scum want to discuss anything with us is beyond me. Seems pretty obvious they want to overcome us ASAP. Sorry but though it is a nice thought, talking this over and all the left is absolutely not interested.
