Good afternoon,
I am on the lookout for a new skillet. I'd like to get a decent one with tall sides (at least 3") and somewhere around 15" round with a handle and a secondary handle for the heavy meals. If it has a lid great, especially if it is a usable cooking top. I have a nice pot already, just want a nice multipurpose skillet to go along side and having a hard time finding one thats deep.
Thanks,

We bought our son a 17” lodge for Christmas this year. Has what looks to be 3” or better sides.

Thats a big one. What does that thing weigh, especially loaded. The internet site said they had a 14.5" with 2.5" sides.

It’s every bit 11 lbs and probably a little more. I have a 16” x 2 1/2” Cabala branded one with lid that I bought about 8 yrs ago when my kids were still in Boy Scouts.

Thanks, Probably few skillets that deep. Look at Dutch ovens. Typically 4” to 5” deep.
