I was at Costco a while ago and they had a 6-pack of Wolf Brand Chili for a good price, so I bought it. I thought it would be a good idea to have a canned alternative for those times when I'd run out of my excellent frozen home-made chili. Good Lord, that stuff is nasty. It looks, tastes and smells like hammered dog schidt - nothing like I remember from when I was a kid. They obviously changed their recipe at some point to increase profits rather than quality. I'm sure they used the absolute cheapest ingredients available - probably Grade E meat. Sweet Jebus it was rank.

So, does anyone have a recommendation for a good canned chili?

Yeah, I know, there's much more important things to worry about here in America now that the Marxists are operating with impunity, but a man needs his chili.

Nalley or Dennison's are both worth a look.

When Wolf Brand Chili sold out to a large conglomerate. They skimped on meat and it has more fillers. I only use it like a chili sauce for plate enchiladas.

BiMart...

Cheap-ass Nalleys, with Walla Walla sweet onion.

Pick up a 4-pack of asswipe while you're there and you're good-to-go.

Fresh chopped onions will fix a lot of what's wrong with some of the canned chili out there.

Last can of chili I tried I swear it had a chunk of cow nipple in it. Never went THERE again.
