I have a M7 SS with a rear action screw that is starting to get a little buggared up. I've looked the places I know and cany find the stainless action screws in stock. No luck at the hardware store either. I think the rear is 8-36 x 2ish" and it has an allen head. Front is 1/4-28 but it's ok.
Anyone have a lead?

Redhawk rifles is where I got mine Thanks I just checked and it doesn't appear they have them either. Brownells, Midway, Numrich, Midsouth....all out.

Look out for number 1, don't step in number 2.

McMaster has some screws that might work. If need be, get stronger alloy steel and use a bit of dull aluminum spray paint on the head.

Boltdepot.com has what you need.
1 3/4", 2", or 2 1/2"
If you need to grind it to exact length just buy a matching nut to use as a squareness guide and to clean up the starting thread after grinding
Edit- brain fart on my part, theirs are 8-32

Or drill it out and tap to 1/2-28 like the front. I think that's a fairly popular modification. Thanks for the suggestions and if anyone knows of a source for the original ones let me know.
