Struggling on various pistols trying to work slides.
LGS guy dosent seem to be able to teach her counter opposing force with quick momentum properly with hand and arm strength to rack a slide.
If someone would have shown miss I wanta just knock em down and not kill em.
How to use hand and arm ergo,s and momentum with a little bit of strenght .
She probably coulda racked just about any slide on most pistols...
Some people shouldnt have guns.....
Some people shouldnt be allowed to show others how to rack a slide on a pistol either.
I felt like I was doing the nation a favor by overcoming my teach, coach, and mentor tendencies I have on the way out.
By resisting wanting to take 2 mins and show Barbara/ cyndi how to rack a pistol using ergo,s.
And make LGS guy look like he had a cock sticking outta his forehead.
Find it hard resisting wanting to help people and embarass others at times.
Been a issue my entire life......

Do gun stores in West Tn still have guns on shelves with ammo available? I haven't been to lgs in 9months. Only other place I've been is Rural King & they have a few handguns, but no ammo except 12 ga target loads.

Did you check whether or not she had false toofs? Coulda helped her out and maybe got a first class gummer for your efforts?
Once had a LGS near me, populated by complete idiots from the top on down. Owner didn't want to sell me scope base fill screws for a Marlin 336, insisted they wouldn't work on the 444 I was putting a receiver sight on. They worked just dandy.
Fine looking young lady came in one day, inquired about a small revolver. Pretty soon both goons behind the counter were arguing over a 44 or 41 mag. She left and they kept arguing.
If three or more people think you're a dimwit, chances are at least one of them is right.

Tn guns and knives on 41A Rural king Academy Cowboy dans pawnshop Midsouth shooters supply FTCKY PX Ya just gotta make regular rounds at places. Starting to do it again myself until turkey season starts. 1 place today had 2 boxes of hornady american whitetail 30- 06 180 gr for 24.99 a bx. But I have vowed to myself not to drop a dime in that place ever again. Like my vow to never buy anything leupold ever again. Too each their own on what they roll with.... I drove over to a semi-local LGS today, only to find zero parking available and a long line waiting to get inside. I had the wife with me, so we just kept going. Made a circle in the parking lot and kept right on going.
I can't think of a thing I really need anyway, but I had a dose of cabin fever and wanted to get out of the house for awhile. That place is usually overpriced anyhow, I hate to think how much of a premium they had on stuff.
It wasn't a total loss, it snowed last night and we saw some deer feeding out in a field, without the snow we probably wouldn't have seen them. Roads weren't slippery, but there was a fair amount of snow still on them.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
