What non-semi , non HC mag rifle would you pick as a battle rifle?
I'm preferable to a Steyr scout.
Spare magazine in stock, rail with built in irons, hollow stock for cleaning kit. Light, fast to operate extremely accurate.

Steyr Scout or Tikka CTR. I know that you said no semis, but it's mainly the "detachable banana clip" that's dangerous, do I'd add the M1 Garand. It's un-American not to like them...
