First is a 1992 stainless 6”, second is a 1977 blued 6” The finish on both is 98-99% condition. The first unconditional “I’ll take it” followed by a pm gets it. I have many more pictures available via text or email of needed. Must ship to an ffl who accepts from me (a non-ffl). Sales to the lower 48 only where legal. Most forms of payment accepted (PayPal and USPS MO preferred). $3250 shipped each Partial trade of S&W 57 - 8 3/8” barrel considered

I had a 1985 stainless and a 1977 blued. I bought them in 2004 for $1400 just a few days after I got married. Man was my wife mad!! I sold the first one in 2009 when my daughter was born. I got $1100. I sold the second one in 2012 when my son was born. I got $1200. I thought I did well, but seeing this makes me feel ill..

I passed on a pair very similar to these in 4” for $2400 (for both) about 8-9 years ago... I’ve felt I’ll about that choice several times since!

I bought one at a farm auction in the mid 90's for 400 clams and traded it for a NIB Rem 700 VSSF 308 a day later. Saved money that day, been loosing it ever sense, ha ha. We've all done it.

I may have to watch some Starsky & Hutch. I drooled over the 6” Python in Gun Digest when I was in high school. Finally got a 6” a few years ago. It’s on a lot of guys’ bucket list.

Fellow came into Fishersville VA show on Saturday in early 90s, He was carrying 5 NIB Colts. Two combat pythons, two vipers, one diamondback 22. I asked him what he wanted for them. $700 ea for pythons, $500 ea for others, $2500 for package. Selling to do a basement for his house. Only had $1200 in my pocket and offered him that for the two pythons. He said couldn't and needed cash money Sunday. Where was ATMs then? Instead of settling for one and choice of others, I took him to a dealer (so called friend) to buy and hold the other from him. Deal was I bring him back $700 Sunday. Headed home and borrowed $200 from M&D til next payday. Heading back Sunday, I was excited but cut short to find out dealer friend had traded the comat. Another dealer brought over a Colt SP1 after show sat. with a $1000 price tag. Said he couldn't turn down the profit (lol). Went over to table and had a whopping $1200 tag. No sale! Took mine out and put 25 rounds through it and back into the safe. Years past and they hit $5k. Away it went. Why?
Sorry so long winded

Sorry so long winded If you remember the older guy from Raphine/Steeles Tavern area that used to set up at Expo and R’ham co. Back in the 90’s, real heavy and always had an oxygen tank? We bought two diamondback .22’s 6” and a .38 4” for $750/ea. Must have been ‘96-‘97 tops. Used to be some good deals around then, bought more in line and in the parking lot than inside though.

A VERY FAIR PRICE....................................... IMO one of if not the best factory trigger ever in a production handgun. Used one a lot in the ealry 90's, passed on buying one for $700. Crazy, right? If I had the $$ I'd be on this. Definite bucket list to fill the missed oppty. Its funny though, a nice gun that is sought after going for 5 times what it cost is a fair price, but a guy selling ammo in the classified for 3x the price he paid at a time when its painfully difficult to get is a ripoff.
Quit giving in inch by inch then looking back to lament the mile behind ya and wonder how to preserve those few feet left in front of ya. They'll never stop until they're stopped. That's a fact.

Shame I was born so good looking and not rich LOL, always wanted one of those. My brother in law had one when he was a deputy and sold it, but not to me.
