Back in 2019 I could not get the local post office to deliver my mail despite living across the street from it. The local postmaster promised to fix it but never did, I finally had to reach out to my dimocrat senator, even they couldn't get the post office to respond. In time the senator's office reached out to their USPS liaison in D.C. In time it came out that our letter carrier had been reassigned four months prior with no new carrier assigned to the route. We have a new carrier who delivers mail at most 3 days per week now. I'm signed up for the post office "Informed Delivery" service that emails me each morning with a scanned copy of what is supposed to be delivered, so when I get no mail despite having received the informed delivery scan, I know the carrier has skipped me yet again.
Living across from the post office, I see the same leased trucks sit there never moving month after month, at what cost?
I'm all for stripping the poor performing bums of their retirement, and privatizing the whole entity.

Hiring quotas
Taking up for and making excuses for postal employees that steal instead of throwing the book at them
Not being able to fire surly counter employees that need to be fired and should have never been hired in the first place
Not being able to fire or reprimand carriers that hide in their trucks and sleep while customer's letters and parcels sit in the back of the truck
Too many things to list and my near elderly fingers tire easily this late

I have been shanked on some important mail that never got to me these last several years. My gripes are too numerous to name. I don't know what I dread more, the DMV or going to a Post Office.

After I posted my first message yesterday (1/19), I received a package that was sent 3 day priority on 1/8. It was in Denver early morning 1/9, and took 10 days to go the last 100 miles.

Wasn't this the intent by Trump when he appointed Louis DeJoy? It was his changes that has caused all of these issues. Pretty much. The intent was to mess up the mail in ballots. Also trump didn’t like Amazon so he thought screwing up USPS would hurt Amazon.

When you quote the Tennessee fairy, you lose any credibility that might have had............not saying you had any to begin with.

LMAO, Trump has been in office 14 years to destroy the USPS. Has to be 14 years as that’s how long it’s been since they didn’t lose 2.5-8.5 billion per year. Think this year it’s going to be a record around 10.5-12 billion.
