Short work out this AM, 11 hours at office, watched the daughters at half time of the high school ball game tonight. Ate some leftovers. Made a drink, finished some paperwork, about to hit the pillow.

Spent all day outside with chain saws, tractor and the Farmi winch clearing a much larger fire break around our in ground water tanks. Built a large slash pile that will burn tomorrow.

Removed a big Holley double pumper, cleaned and rebuilt it and re-installed on the '68. Replaced the fuel pump as well. Still need to replace two rocker studs. Finally found the old data about my best load for the 6.5:06 with 140gr. and reloaded some. Hung two loudspeakers in the small shop. Finished the orchestration for two segments of a musical show I've been writing for a long time. Watched a college BB game. The end. Time for bed.

I did some paperwork, took a good shit, cooked a jambalaya and drank a stovepipe or two of High Life. In other words I did more for the country then the POS new President has done in his entire career.

Just trying to do best with the moments remaining - happy to be able, and it's not dull. Call it whatever fits, but please not - kinky.

Made up stories for my grandkids. How my plots jump the shark; time travel, magic, and dreams.
I told my 4 year old grandson, you were dreaming you had a time machine. You invited your girlfriend,Totse, to join you in your time machine to buzz some dinosaurs. But T rex tried to bite off your head, so you left, but stopped off on the way home to see some cavemen. You put on your language translator and said, "What at the caveman up to today?" The translator turned that into, "Uga bud dug!" It seems they are cutting up and cooking a bear today. The girls are making clothing from the bear fur.
The key to a caveman voice is to sound like growling the words.
There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self. -Ernest Hemingway The man who makes no mistakes does not usually make anything.-- Edward John Phelps

Had the day off so I took my oldest boy to his Jiu Jitsu class this morning. He’s moved on to adult classes now, which is much better for him. Came home and played knife and sheath maker. Finished up a bushcraft knife for my bosses son. Far from perfect but I’m learning with every one. y u

I tried on my new socialist work clothes to see how they fit.
Gray Sweat Pants ✔️ Wife Beater T ✔️ Soft Robe ✔️ Suede Slippers ✔️
Walked to my mail box to oil the door latch and hinges. I’m expecting a lot of government checks from now on.

Clarkm - cool, fun stuff for the G'kids. Nice imagination.
Ptarmigan - good work - wish I could it that well.
Beaver10 - gave me a chuckle - with the sardonic touch.

Caught a four day old heifer calf by hand that had a big load of sticky baby calf icecream stuck to her tail and butt so she couldn't poop. Pulled it off and cleaned her butt. Doin' mama's work for her except I didn't use my tongue.

Well I noticed the other day while hunting the creekbottom that grandson could use a shot pouch for his rifle shot. So I made him one with antler stopper. He also had this old tush from a small hog he had kilt, and I believe it will throw just the right amount of powder for that little .36 rifle of his! So, I strung him up a charger too!

Working on finishing the house build. Spent the day putting galvanized corrugated metal panels on our shower interior. Bracing glued panels till the adhesive cures. Prepping for the flooring that's next.
Been building this house myself for six years and I am in the final stages. Been a long grind but looking good.

I did a little over 11 miles trekkin’ up in the mountains this morning. It took me 4 and a half hours. It’s like a medicine for my body, mind, and spirit.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.
