Link to the new Bergara rimfire - https://www.bergara.online/us/rifles/rimfire/bmr-steel-rifle/If this has a 700 footprint and is as good as it looks and with a MSRP it could be a real game changer in the rimfire world. I am really happy to see the amount of nice full sized 22's that have hit the market in the last few years. drover

Appears NOT to have a M700 footprint, but does take 700 styled triggers. MSRP 550-650 makes it a cool option.

I think the word "MICRO" in the rifles name is a hint. The whole action is scaled down. I like the trim ,classic styling and the fact it comes with both 5 and 10 round mags.

I hope Micro doesn't mean a shortened LOP. If the stock is of adult dimensions and this is of typical Bergara quality, look out Tikka and CZ.
My only complaint is the magazine. They used the correct magazine on the BXR. If they'd make a four or five round flush, I'd take that over a 10 round protrusion. This will likely hit the streets in the mid $400 range.

This looks interesting. May be time for a new .22LR

I am also doubtful that it has a 700 footprint, my thinking is that if it did they would likely have pointed it out like they point out that it takes 700 triggers.
If they handle and feel good I will likely give one a try - at that price it is interesting.

Wonder if the barrel is threaded like the BXR. Maybe interchangeable?

This is the first rifle to come out in awhile that I'm excited about. I'm a big fan of the .22 WMR as well, hopefully they have some on the market soon.

I handled a carbon bxr, felt wonderful but not a fan of that stock...if the bmr stock is the same material they used on the carbon bxr, they'll have a winner, wish the bxr had a sporter stock like this.
