I've been wondering how soon and how much about the gun control situation. There's no doubt that the deep state wants to totally disarm the people. But that's a frog that needs to be boiled slowly.

I don't think they'll get to full blown confiscation very soon. I expect them to make semi auto firearms class III first,.. with a mandatory buy back clause for anyone who doesn't want to buy the tax stamps associated with class III firearms.

Basically, they're going to make it very complicated to own semi auto firearms and the penalties will be very stiff for those who don't follow the new laws.

I would also expect a massive tax on guns and ammo. If they can't regulate them, they can tax them out of existence.

There is enough real crime out there, but that requires effort. Its best to create your criminals, crime and follow addresses and the paperwork.

The dems had a good lesson recently about changing the rules when Harry Reid changed the rules for confirming judges and it cost them dearly when the Republicans got power.

The oligarchs that run the country do not have to wait for laws or worry about the Constitution. By examining your credit card purchases and internet searches, they can determine you own, say, an AR15. Banking Oligarch: No account for you! Healthcare Oligarch: No healthcare for you! Etc. No school for you or your kids. No job. They won't need door kickers, you will surrender that AR PDQ.

Well this was true when there was a R senate majority. Mitch and the committee leaders pretty much sank bills in committee. That isn't true any more, all those committees are now Dem majority, with D as leader. Now it will depends on the Filabuster, if it says in the rules Mitch and crew can possibly fight, but every filibuster takes a political toll ( unlike sitting on things in committee where no one seems to care)

If there is no FB, then the D's do what ever they want. Screaming doesn't help much because 99% of dems aren't going to care what we scream about, frankly they probably laugh about it.
