Honestly, I doubt the majority of the problem will come from those 8.4MM new gun owners. The problem will mostly come from military veterans and long-time gun owners aged 45-70 who do not have young children and would rather fight than comply. I think I know a few of those guys.

I deal with their guy in Tennessee, (their last one was a registered Democrat woman from Virginia) he was never a NRA member till they sucked him out of the Governor's office and started paying him, never was a gun guy and could care less really, it is just a job to him, it is my damn avocation. He does not ever do anything without checking with "Washington" first. Damn man what does our Constitution say?

There are going to be a lot of dead gun confiscators if that passes, and some decide to try to enforce it. You really think so? They will show up 20-1, 2 am., door buster, black ski-masks, body armor, flash-bangs, tear gas, full-auto weapons. If you get a shot off, 2 at most (doubtful) , aim for the head. Or the CNN crew.

I like the number of Alaskans response in this thread. Makes me proud to my bones.
On W4Bear. About 9 years ago we had a kid that got caught with a 22 lr rifle rolled up in a rug in the back of his pickup that he parked in the school parking lot. A kid ratted on him. They were going to put the hunting kid who was a member of Team Tits- a group of very smart bookish young hunters who all had big trucks, snomachines and other rec vehicles in jail for a long time. I reached out to him and at that time Alaska's NRA had Wayne Anthony Ross and his firm representing firearms owners. They had six attorneys that came up and met with the school administration and legal counsel. The kid was free and back in school after the hearing. Not a single teacher gave that kid an unexcused absence or failed him on a test. I don't know what he did to you guys but he is alright in my book.
