My 1st thought about that date was the 1st draft lottery and my #44. However, it was a month earlier, in Dec.

FYI despite all the crap going on in DC.
I saw last night on congress.gov that someone is pushing a bill to up-rate all you guys who served into the "Conflict" to be recognised as serving in a "foreign war".
A small thing but I believe that there are important benefits tied to the subtle distinction.

Sipping some Canadian Club 9-Year Reserve as I type this. (CC and 7 was one of the standard drinks in our hooch/O'Club. The bar girls pronounced it "sisi seben". Bah me lahm per drink - 35 cents)

Sipping some Canadian Club 9-Year Reserve as I type this. (CC and 7 was one of the standard drinks in our hooch/O'Club. The bar girls pronounced it "sisi seben". We were young and slightly demented. age has dimmed our eyes but not our memory. even that damned smell is still with me.. Woody, this has been off the scale great. Thanks to all you other guys.
