You know when a stock that's been dead for years suddenly surges, for no other reason....look no further: https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreet...ew_blackberry_why_itll_go_back_to_65_dd/

I used to do pretty good in stocks. There's one giant booger that haunts my record. The person managing my wife's retirement bought close to 1000 shares of blackberry (then RIMM) when it was at it's all time high 13 years ago. After I took over, I doubled down a couple times when it was tanking.

A couple of weeks ago I was sitting at a 95% loss. Now it's less than 75%. All the BB execs were dumping their shares last week. The company advises regulators there is no know reason for the bounce. Leave it to reddit. They get there wish I may turn a profit on this albatross.

So feel free to jump in and keep this party going.

Obummer loved his black berry.

It didn't redden his TP like Mike did.

Interesting but I wonder how their partnership deals could be affected by their.....uh......partnerships? 😁

Good luck. Your patience and persistence might be rewarded.

Blackberry also has partnership deals with Zoom, OnwardMobility and Huawei.

Blackberry ceo once said. Why would anyone ever want a camera on their cell phone. I had a blackberry once. For about 2 weeks. Hated it and went back to a flip phone

I checked out Blackberry, (right after all the big tech companies crapped their pants and broke out the knee pads and mouthwash and kneeled at Biden's feet, thinking they might view this as an opportunity to sell 80 million phones to Trump supporters.

John Chen (CEO of Blackberry) has already deposed himself of any mobile phone hardware and is fulltime security software. The current/remaining Blackberry phones will only be supported for two more years, and then they become paper weights.

This WSB thing is interesting. I've never heard of it until now. Is game stop the only big run up they've been involved with?

I loved my BlackBerry and every phone I've owned since hasn't come close - save my latest Samsung. Talking the phone - not the stock/politics etc.

Shame they fell by the wayside but at the time - a CrackBerry was THE phone to have.
