I woke up kind of late this morning and when I went to the kitchen to fire up the coffee pot I looked out the window. Damn me if it wasn't snowing. Snowing in Tucson? You know how rare that is? I've lived here for the last 42 years and it's snowed exactly three times prior to today. At least it stuck for a while back then but not so much today.

Global Warming

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

Just the opposite here. We were supposed to get a light snowfall overnight. Got nada. I was looking forward to seeing a little snow.
Two snow-free winters in a row? What a drag! I'm in my 60's, but snow still brings out the "kid" in me.

Hell is freezing over based on Maricopa County's election results, and you're getting the resulting snow.

PJ - I am with you, but about 40 miles southeastward and 1,000 ft. higher. We are looking northwestward at the Rincons this morning - a blanket runs from here, up the slopes, to nice heavy white caps on the peaks. Great day.

It snowed only once when we lived in Tucson for 9 years in the 70s and it was stunning out in the west foothills. Hope you enjoyed it all as much we and our kids did back then

Came to Tucson in '58 and grew up here. Hell I remember we had a White Christmas in the mid seventies. Was home for Christmas from the Navy at the time. Good memories.

I remember a white Christmas here in the mid 80s. We drove through the most I had ever seen near Tucson. Sloppy with ruts I-19 was interesting. We pushed through almost a foot of it to go up Rt 82 to hunt coues near Patagonia Lake. The deer showed up against the snow, they didn't know they were so easy to see. My friend got his buck that morning.
