Fak me! I'd sell mine for that price, any of you more fortunate than me, need to donate to a good cause (my bills). I could use some of that trickle down economics right about now.
All it takes is patience. I find primers in town every couple weeks. I have had two notifications today for primers. None over 50 per thousand. If you want to pay 200 per thousand or more that is your choice but no where near the only option. What to do with gamestop stock, that is the real question.

RMiller2: May I inquire which town in Montana? I live in Montana and have not seen primers on a shelf in a very long time. I am well fixed for primers myself but I have friends who need various sizes of Rifle primers. TIA Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
I have been offering items on GB at $.01 starting price and let the market say what each item is worth. It's been fun seeing what sells and what does not.

As have I. GB allows me to get a good price without the angst of feeling like I'm either gouging someone or giving something away too cheaply. Recently got $105 for a PSA stripped lower, for example.
You can’t really blame the guys selling them, you can list them at .01/1,000......that’s right a penny a thousand and I guarantee you they’ll go to over $200 before the auction is over.
Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgement! 🥴
On GunBroker yesterday a case (5K) of Winchester small pistol primers went for $1775. Plus shipping and sales tax!
Crazier then that, there are two current auctions for a total of 200 primers that are already at $100 and $105. A little quick math says that comes out to $500 per 1000 and $525 per 1000, plus shipping.
Laws aren't preventative measures. In other words, more laws won't prevent gun crime from happening.
My cousin was in sportsman yesterday and called me and ask if I needed any primers. I told him yes and how many can you get, he replied I can buy 1000. I ask what they were and he replied they were Federal Gold Metal Match. Large Rifle. I ask how much and he $3.50/100. I screamed buy. So now I have another 1000 primers, the only thing is I only use magnum primers and these are standard primers, but I can live with that.
