I can like those. And just enough "flair" on the 270!! Nice job. Bart 2B would have been my choice as well on the 300.
ETA: What bottom metal on the Rem?

I just used the standard PTG aluminum bottom metal that drops in. I’ve used a few of them. The only one I ever had an issue with was the oberndorf

Both really nice builds - I've seen a few of Mark's in the past and he builds a fine rifle. Congrats on both, should make for great hunting rigs!

That 270 is pretty sexy... not much you couldn't do with that pair

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Whose bolt knob on the 700? Both look great.

Very nice. Will be interested in the range report.

Whose bolt knob on the 700? Both look great. Pure precision - slim, straight fluted. Redhawk rifles keeps them in stock

Thanks guys, I had a bunch of rifles that I never used. I figured it was a pretty good time to sell a few off to finance the builds. I wanted a nice do it all pair. I have a youngster showing interest but I have a good while to put some use on them

Decided a couple rifles that were exactly the way I wanted them and used frequently was better than a safe full of guns that were used sporadically. You did well with those two, beautiful builds.
