Closest one is KC, got some gift cards I plan on redeeming one of these days. I sure miss the old Cabela's and the SW that was in Wichita for a few years, but not touching them after BP raped them

I went to the Scheels in the Eden Prairie mall.
Holy shiit, it's huge and awesome.
Lots of guns, no ammo other than 25-06 and 300WSM.
Should be nice if they have good sales/coupons, especially if stuff starts being stocked again.
drove by the one in SLC on I 15......at 78 mph didn't stop

I went to the Scheels in the Eden Prairie mall.
Holy shiit, it's huge and awesome.
Lots of guns, no ammo other than 25-06 and 300WSM.
Should be nice if they have good sales/coupons, especially if stuff starts being stocked again.
drove by the one in SLC on I 15......at 78 mph didn't stop Worked in Northern Utah for 6 months last year and 6 months the year before last. If my flight home was on Friday morning I’d conveniently make it down to that Scheels on Thursday night. Scored some pretty good clearance clothes. Kind of upsetting they had no walnut/blued rifles like a Model 70, Ruger Hawkeye, or Kimber 84 on the shelf. Neither does the KC store. I guess I’m an oddball in today’s market.

I just hope they do huge end of season clearance sales.
The hunting clothing section was impressive. Clothing? Maybe you can get a mani pedi too...or maybe a coupon for your next visit. Not everyone is wearing homespun and rabbit skins this year Jim.

The one in Billings is pretty gay.
They have a gay little coffee shop...a gay housewares dept....gay furniture....
I may be a bit old fashioned....but clothes shopping is pretty gay.
Scheels is a Macy's with a couple guns.
Gay, gay gay.
Fargo is the home base for Scheels. The Super store is awesome. A lot of the "gay" stuff, they keep over at the Scheels Hardware store. But they also have a great selection of grills and grilling accessories and an impressive tool section.

Scheels in Appleton has sold me a lot of good gear over the years. I like them well enough to brave the mall parking lot to go there.

Best thing about Scheels is they are employee owned. For that reason it is unlikely they will ever sell out to Bass Pro like Cabela's and Sportsman's Warehouse have done. Probably not. Because there is no amount of money they’d sell for 😂🤣👌 So, you think the Cabela's and SW employees would have voted to sell out to Bass Pro? When selling out means you will likely lose your job, you might resist the temtation. But you knew that.

I go there a fair amount. It's a cool store. All summer they had primers.
