I’m looking for a Barrett Fieldcraft in 6.5 Creedmoor and another in .270 Win. Willing to $1250 if used, $1400 if unfired. I will NOT pay inflated scalper prices!! I’m sure you understand. ...bump for the buyer. Please note, if I see one at those prices before you, you'll never get to see it.....grin....

Love my 6mm CM fieldcraft, I feel so angry for not buying the ones I wanted... I would like a 270 for sure.

But I keep hearing from others on this site that the market is inflated and if we would all just stop paying the high prices they’ll eventually come down and inventory will return.

Free bump, I hope you find one. I fear the days of finding one at that price will be rare, unless they start making them again

Yeah, honestly if they don't come back I'll forever wished I'd taken a loan if I had to and bought 3 or 4 more a year ago.

I wonder if Barrett would share likelihood of return to manufacturing them? The gent was pretty open about it at the Reno sheep show in 2020 that they just had big contracts and demands for rifles in their core market that far surpasses their abilities so if they came back it would be a while. Had heard earlier that 2021 was a possibility, but they’ve since updated website and scrubbed Fieldcrafts from it. I tried looking up the information that used to be up on the different limited series made towards the end and can’t find it anywhere now—leads me to fear they are done, at least for foreseeable future.
I know the little 22” threaded 6.5 creeds I got for the gals shoot factory ammo into tiny little ragged holes—every bit as accurate as a surgeon action/heavy bartlein barreled creed GAP built me with hand loads out to 500 yards. Sure the factory ammo will suffer due to sd past a point, but they are silly accurate for the price point.
Really wish I had picked up more of them as well—and in things other than 6.5 creed (and kept the 7/08 I passed onto another fellow forum member).
Would also love to find a few 1st generation Colt SAA and Pythons at MSRP too. Sometimes hard to tell inflated vs smart investment.

I paid $1589 from Whitaker's NIB for a 6.5 Creedmoor. A lot of us did...what's your point? Is your intent to rub potential new buyers in how good of a deal they will never get? Does your ego need that validation? Because no one asked you what you paid....

Broke dicks gonna whine, moan and broke dick.
At this point after all the ups and downs as a gun owner--this behavior is annoying. We aren't all friends. Why is that soo hard to understand?
What do you call the guy who claims you are buddies when he wants a deal from you? What's that mooch called where you live?...
