Well im posting this in a few places, I recently acquired a bunch of "NEW" winchester 401 self loading brass made by the Connecticut cartridge co. I know some dabble in other firearms then SAVAGE !! THis brass is new old stock from i dont know when. I know it has been just about impossable to find even before this craziness. I did some reserch and found the last time it was available at Graff and sons Bertram was $48.99 for 20 rds, Quality Cartridge had it for 33.99 for twenty. I would like to get $100 for 50 and i would ship for that price. As rare as this is i dont believe its out of line. I intend to post in the reloading forum also. Adds in the classifieds tend to get burried almost immediatly. Don

CCC brass was good stuff. I remember they came in green boxes of 20 back in the late 60's-early 70's. I fed my first Trapdoor .45-70 with the stuff, an M1884 Carbine.

Not too odd ball but I could use some 25-20 Dang, the show Randy and I went to Saturday had some. I thought about buying it so I’d have an excuse to buy a single shot for it.
I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

They're a little difficult to find, at least for me. I assume the cases have thin walls because they don't last long and I load mildly with them. I need to just invest in .32-20s. about the same thing and easier to get reloading supplies.

On the off chance you haven't had any bites on the brass, Simpson's in Galesburg, IL has a Model 1910 in .401 for sale. You wouldn't be the first to buy the gun for the ammo!
