Yeesh. If someone came in and torpedoed a WTS thread for a rifle they thought was overpriced people would go bonkers. (I see rifles listed here everyday that are pitched for hundreds of dollars more than I'd spend but I don't roll into every thread and let everyone know I think it's a bad deal.) If he has surplus 22LR he can sell it for whatever he wants and if you don't like it, move along? It's not his fault you either: a) don't have any 22LR and are now distraught over the price; or, b) you do have 22LR and enjoy chastising the people who don't for "not preparing after the last panic."

Hell price your schitt however you want to price it. It's easier to come down on the price than it is to go up on the price once it's listed. If I don't like someones price or the item i move along. Times are crazy now,guns ammo and supplies are in short supply and high demand and not everyone buys when schitt is available at reasonable prices therefore they have to pay more later. If they get ass raped on the price by someone with a used car salesmen mentality then it's their own damn fault.

While I care little about the insane prices for various products, I fail to understand how one could need an item so badly that they would pay 3 or 400% over the actual value of the product. Illegal drugs are priced similar

While I care little about the insane prices for various products, I fail to understand how one could need an item so badly that they would pay 3 or 400% over the actual value of the product. Illegal drugs are priced similar Simple. Some people earn $500 an hour. Some earn more. The price of .22 bullets has absolutely no effect on them. It really doesn’t matter if the bullets cost 5 or 10 CENTS more. If they want them they buy them.
