I recently purchased some 77gr SMK bullets to load up for a Stag 6 varminter. I’m fairly new to reloading and would appreciate any helpful knowledge you guys have. I know Magazine length controls my OAL but Leads on powder, powder weight and OAL that have worked for you would be fantastic.

I presume you are shooting these out of either a 5.56 or Wylde chamber?

If you just started reloading, I assume you have a manual to go to? Should have a host of info in it. One I refer to often is "The Complete Reloading Manual for the .223 Remington". Got mine at Scheels for $8.
What one guy works up a load for in his rifle, may not be the best for yours.

Load Varget, RL15, TAC, N140, N540, H4895, IMR8208, CFE223 with just about any SR primer, seat bullet to 2.25" and go shoot.

Id look up a thread we had a while back about the hornady 75 gr match vs 77 SMK. Tons of great info in that one

LT, That 24" barrel really get's them moving: You have a lot of choices, about 50 powders where you could expect 2800fps +/- 50fps or better. Even with the current shortages I expect you can find something that will work well for you.
Cartridge : 5.56 mm NATO - 5.56 x 45 mm

I agree. It usually doesn't take much to find a good load for a Stag 6. Thats the kind of rifle that can place in the black rifle challenge here. Possibly sub moa scores.
