I think the question is less about which country will challenge him and more about which one his handlers will direct him to make war on for their benefit. Any "challenge" you read in news sources about will be fabricated to bring about the result they desire.

The left wants an Iranian sourced gas pipeline through Syria.
The Right wants a Saudi pipeline.
Europe doesn't care as long as the gas flows.
Syria...I believe...supports a Saudi pipeline.
Thus....the reason Obummer needed him gone.

Iran will step up mideast terrorism and try to get even for Trump killing their general. They may even try to assassinate Trump.
Nork won't do anything that China doesn't tell them to do.
China will take Taiwan and continue making bases in the Pacific. They will stop buying our airliners as soon as the C919 gets certified. They will begin to challenge the dollar, weakened by Biden's and Trump's ridiculous debt spending, as the reserve currency. Other countries will note which way the wind is blowing and support China more strongly.
Russia, if they're smart, will act nice and make Europe dependent on their gas. NATO will gradually become irrelevant.
Don't blame me. I voted for Trump.
Democrats would burn this country to the ground, if they could rule over the ashes.
