Looking for recommendations of components for a quality AR 10 build? I don't mind building lower. I would like to buy a completed 18 inch upper vs building it. Thanks

I was at one place yesterday and they had a chit ton of uppers and lowers. Aero precision M5e1's and some other brand I had never heard of. TNW I believe. They were nice billet receivers. They had about 20 matching sets there. Rifles hanging on the peg boards too. All from the lowest of the low, Diamondback to Geiselle and DD. The only thing I was disappointed in was they didn't have any Toolcraft BCG's. Some weird brand I'd never heard of. Oh, prices were as follows: Smith and wesson M&P sport new for $799.99, Geisselle for $1800.00. and a new Colt 6920 for $1,000.00... They also had complete uppers there as well, but I did not pay attention to the prices, as I need one of those like I need a hole in the head. I could build an AR10 rifle very easily right now and on the cheap, but why do that when I can buy a complete rifle for $999.99?

IMHO - get an Aero Precision lower - if you can find one. Get the lower first, rest of the the parts will be available- sooner or later.

Then a BCG - not seeing a lot of options, but can be found - if you put in some search time.

In my area, .308 lower parts kits are in stock, but everything else is hit or miss.

DPMS, PSA etc will work as well, but I like Aero - just one opinion.

Zulu Foxtrot guns & weaponry (605)787-2141 probably have all the stuff for your build and can do the build for you give them a call. Mb
