Stop in a fairly local gun shop today. Picked up 3 boxes of 25 cal 100gn NBT @ 19.99, 1lb Hogdon Longshot @ 24.99, and some CCI 500 Small Pistol Primers at 6.50 per 100, but at least they had some. No large rifle, LRM, or large pistol primers....Haven't seen any in awhile. Felt pretty good.....

I had a friend stop by the shop tuesday and ask if I wanted to buy 3 bricks of BR2's. $150.00... Found 2 pounds of superformace powder last weekend and tonight after I bought a stainless classic 30-06 fwt with silver Leupold Vari-x IIc 3-9X40 for $675.00 I stopped at sportsman's and found 2 boxes of Barnes 168 gr 30 cal TTSX bullets. Oh, and a week and a half ago I found a like new Tikka T3 stainless lite 308win with Bushnell elite 3200 3-9x40 for $549.95...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

What, no one else winning the lottery??? Just got back from the coast, picked up my $549.95 Tikka T3 that I bought 2 weeks ago. Background check finally completed!!!! The rifle is exceptionally clean, but I had to add a stainless recoil lug, freefloat the barrel, adjust the trigger down to 2 1/4 pounds and clean the heck out of it. Rifle should should shoot lights out. Yesterday was a fairly good day. Hit a few gunshops at the coast. Scored on a like new, in the box, Zeiss conquest 4.5-14x44 for $499.00. Today I found 120 pcs of new 300WBY brass for $40.00 and 66 pcs of brand new 7mm08 brass for $20.00. The funny thing about the Zeiss Conquest, is the guy/gunshop owner had it for a long time, but he couldn't sell it for the price he originally had on it ($700.00), so he told me he was losing money selling it to me for $499.00. I had been researching them on ebay for the last 3 weeks. Thinking about upgrading the scope on either of my 2 new to me rifles. One wearing a Bushnell elite 3200 3-9x40 and the other wears a Silver Leupold vari-x IIc 3-9X40: Been watching those on ebay and 2 of them sold today: 1 for $599 and the other for $476.00. That means when I go to sell mine (silver Leupold), I'll have roughly $200.00 into the beautiful stainless classic featherweight 30-06 in walnut stock that I just bought last Tuesday... Oh, and my buddy and I saw a 2009 EW 308 win in a shop that we know we were checking out in 2009, but the shop still has it. Priced down to $899.00, since they have not been able to sell it for 12 years!! I think my buddy is going to buy it though.. Seems like a heck of a good deal on an American made BACO model 70 EW...

Over the past month or so. I have been well set with primers since Obama got elected as I was living in Canada at the time and there was no shortage there.

Those small rifle primers are damn hard to find. I like the CCI400's. I've burned up thousands of them... Here are some pics of my score from last weekend. I want to show you guys how I saw them. Sometimes when you see brass in rubbermaid plastic containers, don't be afraid to ask what it is, or an old scope box that looks like its been there for a long azzed time. Maybe handled a 1,000 times. What's inside the box and plastic containers is what's important: All of that brass is brand new, never fired. The book in the first picture is a great outdoors book everyone here should have. I paid $1.00 for it and a 12mm snap on wrench at an estate sale on the way to the gunshops last saturday/sunday..

Its good to hit the lottery. Small town gunshow today: Not nearly as much as usual, but I didn't pay gougers prices either. Remember when gunshows were great? Well, they still are in some places.. How much longer will that last though????

That Tikka deserves Talleys, not that factory stuff. P Yeah, I chit canned those rings. I was just showing exactly how it came for $549.00. I've taken it out a few times now. Shooting great. Although, I've glass bedded it, replaced the aluminum recoil lug with a stainless one and properly freefloated the barrel. It is a very consistent shooter now.. Oh, it already had a limbsaver on it too, so that saved me a little money. I didn't go with Talley's, but went with something more solid, however many options work well for these rifles: I have a little more work to do with the load, but it shoots Nosler partitions, Hornady interlocks and Barnes TSX well. Oh, and on the subject of hitting the jackpot, I forgot to mention that I passed on 3 boxes of factory 300WBY ammo for $60.00... I kept thinking I already have enough. Someone else got a great deal on it...

Lmao. I wouldn’t saying pay a fair price for a Tikka is winning the lottery. You are a stupid fu ck. The scope is worth a minimum of $230.00. A very easy sell on ebay. BTDT. That brings the price of the rifle down to $320.00. The op started this thread with some odds and ends he found. Why don't you tell us what you found that was a good/great deal. If you have nothing of value or intelligence to share, move on... We will wait in anticipation to hear all about how you spent $50.00 on a brick of 22lr. If there weren't dumb azzes like you in this world, I wouldn't be able to swoop in and buy when things are priced right.

Bought a Tikka 22-250, peeling crows out of trees at 200 yds is easy.
