Nice, I run max loads in my Dan Wesson 1911 10mm, supported, 140gr Lehigh penetrators near 1600, 200gr XTP's at 1200, with the link you provided I found 1150 fps with 180gr bullets using power pistol or longshot just may be the ticket for a pile of old 180gr double canelured Federal HST's, that bullet may penetrate deeper and hold up a lot better at 1150 fps, not to mention making a softer shooting load to stay on target and behind the sights should one want to use for SD/CCW.

If you read Brian Pearce's older Handloader article on reloading 10mm, you'll notice that his loads for the Colt Delta in the referenced article are toned-down some for the Colt's unsupported chamber.
