Looks like mine. You don't see many with that stepped
receiver.

Told it here before, I think.

Bought it about 15 years ago for $150.
Never wanted a pump, or a 30-06.
But, $150.
Very lazy load development.
Had some 180 Sierras of unknown origin laying around,
looked at a Lee Dipper chart and loading books for a load
using one of the powders on hand. 4831 worked.

1" groups. Pissed me off. I have worked way harder to get
"better" guns to do as well. Never shifts zero either.

Still not in my top favorite guns, but it does go for walks
more often than several that I like better.

Thanks for that. $150, wow! Someone was desperate. I've had three 7600's and they all shot very well - under 1" at 100 yards. I bought two 760's at a gunshow this last week-end. I see where people are looking for 760's so I thought I'd pick up both. I thought the price was way under Gunborker prices. The $750 will cover my costs including shipping for this rifle. They are not easy to find at this price right now. If it doesn't sell, it will go to one of my off-spring. Who knows if the new Remington will make more pump rifles??

The other 760 was needing more work . This one was just filthy dirty. I can't believe people trying to sell rifles when they are as dirty as these two were.

Actually it is special now. A former boss and friend was selling all
his guns to get the money for a Henry Golden boy. He divided the
cost by the number of guns and sold them to friends.

He passed on several years ago.
So it joins 8 or 9 others as memorials of a sort.

It was filthy too. Spent a week with steel wool and Hopped working
on rust. Pulled the trigger and actually got blades of grass and sticks
out of the action.

This one is in pretty good shape, I think. I'm surprised it didn't sell right away. Well there's a gun show this week end and if it doesn't sell there, it will be going to Guns International. I know I could get maximum money from Gunbroker right now - but I won't deal with them after the changes they've made.

This is a steal at today's prices. If this was on Gunbroker right now with a "Buy it Now" at your price it wouldn't last a minute. GLWYS

Well, that's what I thought when I picked it up. someone who sells on Gunbroker could probably make a $100 or more pretty easily, I'd think.

I've been told that I paid too much for this rifle. I've lowered the price to $500 plus shipping. Your FFL must accept from a private individual. (It cost me $100 to ship from a FFL to California. )

$500 plus shipping
