cci has been having quiet in stock pretty much every day this week. $50 a brick. Free shipping over 99 bucks. I've picked up a couple bricks, fun around the yard and a couple of my semis actually cycle it. Have had mini mags and velocitors this week too.

I'm not imaginative enough to see this kind of thing happening. I stocked up to resell between panics and took what I thought was a big profit just prior to the election. Oh, well.

At some point supply will increase to demand and the prices will fall. As long as legislation doesn't intervene.

Unfortunately that is a long way off. Way too much stupid in the market.

I'm seeing 325rd bricks for $50 sitting now and not being gobbled up. Hopefully things are improving....until some legislation makes the books or another mass shooting.

Yeah, if people are willing to pay that price. Damn $160.00 for 500 rounds? Schidt!! That's just standard velocity CCI too...

I could retire. Wait I already am. All kidding aside I am sitting on 5k of mini mags and another 35k of various other brands.

I'm well situated for a long time to come. Not by design necessarily, but by buying bricks here and there over the years and shooting some and putting the rest on the shelf - it added up over the decades. I refuse to castigate guys who, A) knew this was coming but simply couldn't afford to stock up, or B) guys who didn't see this coming but couldn't have afforded to stock up anyway even if they did. Now all those guys are left out in the cold totally because if they couldn't afford the stuff a year ago they sure as hell can't afford it now thanks to the profiteers.

People who saw it coming, and could've afforded to stock up but didn't - they're the ones who get little pity from me.

And yes, I've put my money where my mouth is by giving .22 ammo and odds-ends of loading supplies to friends and relatives who fall squarely into A) above, and will continue to do so - because if we don't hang together we'll hang separately.

I didn't see it coming and am glad to let others jump into the fire. I have enough to suit my needs and that's that.

I do have one puzzle. Which am I going to grab when it hits the fan? CB Shorts? I got enough of those to whack about 1,000 hogs. SV shorts? BB Caps or maybe CB Caps? Long rifles, WRF, WMR....what to do, hey? I don't do longs....

I am..........disturbed.
