This time it included the sheriffs press release in text form, uncut, raw and just moments after the incident took place. No enhancements, no opinions, no interpretation or explanations. Just what the uploader knew as facts at the time. I guess we'll just have to wait until the major networks catch up to find out if the dude survived all those rounds them skilled marksmen were shooting his way.

Thank god! That is why I believe armed citizens are an asset to the L.E. community and not the evil the anti gun folks like to chant. In my job the current drift is you are better off taking a beating then giving one. Just hope you somehow survive it! Thanks to the good citizens who were willing and able to take care of the problem. Still I have to wonder how many folks just stood there and filmed the incident and consoled themselves by believing that they helped the officer. by doing so!

My best friend is the chief trainer and gunsmith at that range. Those guys train regularly and with great rigor. None of them missed.

The injured officer, who has not been named, was treated and released from University Medical Center the afternoon of the shooting. She suffered a fracture near her eye, Zimmerman said. This 'helping cops' thing and then having to help the even less capable female Leos even more? I always worry about hearing that the perp is in the hospital.
