I am 5/6 positive for the recent past. The one negative really really pisses me off! LOL

Knew the chances going into it. My feedback and emails basically consist of F'off at this point. If the inventory says only a few don't bother is my strategy, but unwilling to simply cancel when asked seems like it'd be unlawful.

Its obviously fake, why in the hell would they go through the trouble of randomly generating a queue number just to make you wait and tell you there are no "specialists" to talk to. That is 100% someone sitting behind the scenes thinking it'd be funny to f*ck over people.

I have used chat, got a person and everything. They just couldn't do chit. Also had your experience above wait wait then none available...

My past experiences with Optics Planet have not been good. Long before this post was made I decided not to buy from them because of my past experiences being similar to those in the YouTube video. Fortunately they are an exception and not the norm.

I will give some credit where credit is due. About mid-January, I backordered an AR bolt carrier group. When ordered, they said it would be a 5-7 month wait. I received it on Friday.

Ordered a scope last week that was in stock, shipped the next day via UPS and supposed to be delivered by Tuesday of this week. Coming UPS sure post so I’m sure the local post office will screw it up somehow.

A [bleep] as they are, I noticed today they have 2.5-8x36 VX-3i's on DVOR again for $329. Had no issues with that order a couple weeks ago. Can't find them anywhere else right now and the price is good.

So I search the world wide web for a Surefire WarComp open tined muzzle device. No one has any except Optics Planet. So I called them and got some knucklehead who said they had bunches in stock I said no you don't please look again and he did and said, well we have a few. I said great send me one and he pulled my name up from way back when. Then he said are you in Alaska? I said yes and he said your state is one that restricts this item from being shipped. I said I read your shipping warning and this muzzle device is not restricted, its a chunk of coated stainless steel. He ain't budging and said his bosses will kick it back. I finally gave up in disgust and hung up.

Last time I tried to order a VXR scope from Midway they said no because it had a battery in it. I said toss the battery with my blessing and send me the scope, hell no they won't do that. But the worst was the idiots in Georgia that wouldn't send me a filter for my 12' wannabe swimming pool. Their reason was the only countries they ship to was Canada and Mexico. I bout lost it and said Alaska is in the United States and asked for her supervisor, supervisor gal a damned idiot also and said same thing. I gave up in disgust and had my daughter order it and ship to me.

Later on that night I got back on Optics Planet site and ordered it and used dreaded Pay Pal. Next day I got a e mail saying it has shipped. At this point I don't trust them and think they are screwed up. But, they are not alone, almost every place is messed up as far as not telling you they have and item in stock. Maybe it is the Covid curse, ya got me.

I will see if the tracking number comes up tomorrow, if not I will call them and see if they tell me it is on back order, if they do I will give them the order history, cancel the order and tell them to refund my card immediately
