She would then fall asleep and her head would come down till her nose touched the stove. Yikes! She had a pink burn scar on her brown nose for the rest of her life. Thanks looks are deceiving though. The guy that built this (and 3 more houses around the corner) went to jail for not paying his taxes. He stopped by after we bought it and was so proud to talk about his fireplace. No blowers. Doesn’t get enough air. Burns a lot of food for minimal heat. It’s eventually going to get removed and done right. Plus wife hates the river rock. She’s going to lay it up in limestone, she thinks.
