I've been trying to track one down locally for the last few months and none have shown up. Looking for a well cared for used xr650 or possibly a DRZ400 -year doesn't matter. Must be street legal. But will be used primarily on dirt so any aftermarket options will be considered with those uses in mind. I'd prefer the XR but have had DRZs in the past and want to plan some trips with it this summer so need to find a bike.

I'm in north east ohio. Willing to drive up to 750 miles one way to pick up the right bike.

Have one collecting dust in your garage? Let me know I'll give it a new home.

I just bought a nice L the same yr as the one in the link below, but other than jetting and a slip on it's stock. The bike in the link literally has it all when it comes to 650L's. Might be worth a trip as long as the front sprocket shaft has been saved with an R or Fritco sprocket, and a guy with all those mods knows about that.
