The other party wants money, the house, wants the other to be “miserable”, or wants to force the other to stay (“You’ll never leave me! I won’t let you!”). Which one is the “abuser”, or the bad person in such a relationship??? You’ve got one half of this country demanding things be done “their way”. They expect to have their education, their healthcare, their poor life choices paid for, and how dare you question them, just hand over the money and pay for it. The other half is tired of “getting along” or “tolerating” or “compromising”, they just want these constantly miserable/ungrateful/demanding people out of their lives, and the freedom to find their OWN happiness, rather than expecting someone to “give” it to them. This is no longer a healthy marriage. Staying together isn’t “helping” the kids (citizenry), it’s hurting, and creating a bunch of ungrateful/angry/lazy/jealous/miserable people, in the process.
