Unfortunately, most of the constituency doesn't care about the Constitution either.

Unfortunately, most of the constituency doesn't care about the Constitution either. Or even knows what it is.

Its amazing that Trump, the anti politician who kept his promises and did not waiver, offended the beta males with his tweets and they abandoned him, preferring a corrupt Romney or McCain type.
Lots of republicans on the fire crying about their hurt feelings. No wonder our system is so screwed up when supposed men vote with their fickle emotions..

An elected official is supposed to vote how their constituents want them to vote, not how they feel. We've lost our way big-time. I would say definitely true in the House of Representatives. In the Senate, I see it a little more leeway for personal discretion. However, veer too far off the path, and good bye to re-election. Which is why when Tester veers off the path on gun control we will fire his fat ass. Perhaps by recall.

At the end of it all, the burden lies with the constituents to give out pink slips to worthless grifters that try to hold on to power.
For some reason we do a terrible job of firing terrible reps and senators. We fire lousy bank CEOs, losing coaches, college presidents. But we are hesitant to fire bad politicians. Mind blowing.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.
