When I had a mossberg done I took it too a high end fab and machine shop in town. Who better to do something like this than a machine shop if you don’t have a good smith in town.

Think they charged me 20$ a hole which was great since the shop minimum rate was 80$.

The 336 or Sumtoy mount are the most common it seems.

True glo may have a mount that fits the reciever already and just need to drill & tap. Check them out.
I bought Sumtoy mounts for my FF3;s on my Franchi Affinity shotguns.
I strongly recommend getting a mount that goes to the receiver and not through a traditional scope base. I tried a weaver base on my franchi first and its too tall. You get more recoil smack to your face because you are holding your head high and its just too high. The Sumtoy mount was worth it.

D&T price... Franchi will do it for $20 a hole on their gun which doesn't apply, but its a low price reference.
I've seen gun smiths charge up to $50 a hole.

Please report back what you find. Lots of turkey hunters do this.

Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

I got the Burris 336 mount on order, should be here this week. Guys on Penola Productions turkey hunting site highly recommends this mount. Only have to drill 2 holes so $20 each sounds very reasonable. Raleigh/Fayetteville area of North Carolina and looking for someone to do this.

Should have specified. I’m running a sumtoy mount as well on a benelli SBE2, m1 20g, and a mossberg 20g

Have had excellent customer service with sumtoy

My LGS charged me $20 a hole. I put a speed bead on an 870 for my dad, and much prefer that set up. As low as the fast fire sits on the receiver/336 mount, the speed bead mount sits lower and cowhitnesses with the shotgun bead. The speed bead mount is a little flimsy, but I "braced" it up with bedding compound and its solid as a rock.
