When we moved down here, a year and a half ago, I put a lot of stuff I didn't need right away in a storage unit. They've jacked up the price, so I'm looking to move my stuff out and integrate it into the house. I was over there this morning, sorting through stuff when I came to a box that had "rf ammo" written on it. Inside were half a dozen decoy bodies and several thousand rounds of rimfire ammo, including over 2500 rounds of Federal bulk .22 LR HP; over 1000 rounds of Winchester 40 grain Power Point HP, over 1500 rounds of 17 M2, about 400 rounds of 17 HMR, about 400 rounds of .22 WinMags, about 300 rounds of Stingers and Velocitors, and probably 500 rounds of assorted Mini Mags, Remington Goldens and one box of Super X .22 LR with a $1.29 price tag from a store that went out of business at elast 25 years ago. These are the times I'm glad I got all 4 barrels for my Sako Quad. Maybe time to get that G44 I've been considering. Life is good!

Like it when stuff like that happens.

Couple years back found a box of ziti on the inside pocket of a sports jacket that had been packed away for almost 20 years.

Found a new unopened box of 30 Cal 150 grain Hornady Interlocks in a random box in the basement the other day whilst
rummaging for other stuff. I'm no where near the misplacing random shït stage yet, but finding that box had me scratching
my head a bit.

Find stuff in my pockets now and then. Used to treat the two girls at the bank with a sack of York Peppermint patties, when I was in a good mood. They hired a new girl that was kinda sassy. One day she mentioned that she'd been told I spring for candy from time to time.

Happened to be wearing one of my hunting jackets, rooted in the flap pockets and there was a Reese's pnut butter cup. Left over from deer season a few months before.

Tossed it on the counter. Been in there so long, it was about a quarter inch thick. She eyed it, said thanks, but no thanks. So I peeled the wrapper and ate it.' First and last time she asked me for candy.

Timely post. I discovered a 1000 round box today, of Winchester .22 HP buried in the back of my ammo locker. Bought it in 2017 for $39.95 Wally World. Had forgotten all about it.

It’s a good chance someone that might know you on this forum might break into your stash and take it since it’s been announced on a public forum. Ammo is worth more than gold right now.

Not slamming you but a guy and girl went with my daughter snow skiing a few weeks back and they had been announcing it on facebook prior to going. Guess what happened when they was gone all of his guns and ammo got stolen because the week before he showing it off online. So I personally do not advertise anything like that and will never say I’m leaving my house unattended for a week online for every person good or bad to see. If I share pictures it’s after I’m back at home!

Better than finding $20 in your pants pocket that you had forgotten about.
