Rust is the issue.

I can ask. N. Lexington Ky. area.

He’s got a rusted out 1 year old truck?

I'm not getting this? Friend has a 7.3 powerstroke single cab F250 Ford, with a manual trans that was once for sale.

I don't remember the last year of the 7.3, but it ain't one year old. That's what it is, just offering. But yes, it's rusty.

Ford has a new 7.3 gas motor.

OK guys, sorry, forgot about the new gasser, but OP didn't specify fuel type or year that I could see. Thank you for the clarification.

I've never drove or rode in a new 7.3 gas. Curious how it takes off loaded or going up a hill.

If I had money I'd get a new 6.7 and delete.

That is a badass engine.

Guy here in town has a regular cab with a bale bed and a cake box Sam. He’s had 6.0,6.4, and 6.7 diesels in more or less the same truck. He says he’ll never have anything else. No waiting for it to warm up, cheaper maintenance, and about the same mileage but with cheaper fuel. His only real hauling is a gooseneck stock trailer or a 6 bale hay van but he claims it does fine with those. Unless a guy is pulling a big trailer all the time to make a living I think it’s a winner.

Its pretty easy to order a truck.
Ford is stopping production of the 2021 Super Duty about the end of March. Find out when the order window opens for the 2022 and order a 22 instead. Research gearing and order the proper size gears for it. I own a 2019 with the 6.2 gasser and 4:30 gears and love it. But if I was running 75-80 all day long would of stayed with 3:55's.

What part of PA is he in? I think my buddy still has a hookup through a local dealership in SE PA.
