Yes MD, the one is more of a contrast chart and the other is just acuity taken to the max number of sizes.I find the gun can't move at all for the scope charts to work, and a small uniform light to be mandatory.Getting the scopes all on equal powers(not what the ring says but really equal)is the hardest thing to accomplish I've found to this point.All of this has no life alterating effects but is neat to play with and fun to compare.

Woodseye--Sounds like we have come up with very similar systems. My friend Bill McRae has come up with a method for making sure they're all on the same true magnfication. It involves another small instrument, which I have course have forgotten at this moment. I'll ask him again and post with his method.

Would be interested as I've been using size comparisons and thats kind of relative and not 100% accurate.
