Gas jumped another $.30 here this morning. In the grocery store, shelves are short stocked, and many items just gone. Prices on many items, from appliances, hardware, food, gas, medicine are shooting up. I really believe we are looking at a major economic downturn and fairly soon. You just can't dump Trillions of magic dollars into the economy without causing inflation and the devaluation of the currency.

The question is what further measures the U.S. government will take to protect the devalued dollar from being replaced by "good" money. You can't make something worthless and still expect the world to want it. Maybe destroying the dollar is the plan. Sooner or later the debt of the U.S. will have to be monetized which is basically default and bankruptcy. There is no other path.

This can’t be, Sam. Can’t be, I say.

I just read in this morning’s news rag that “US industrial production and retail sales climb”.

Further, “ economists expect stronger economic growth in the second half of this year”.

Things must be just fine, ya reckon?

It wasn't just an election cycle. It was the full fledged theft of the presidency and Americans know it. If the democrats want to retain power in 2022 and 2024 there will need to be a full on theft again. Plan on it. If you are not getting a hold of you elected representatives to put them on notice yo aren't going to stand for this again you are the real losers. Iowa has already introduced some radical changes to make sure what happened in the democrat controlled States does not happen here. We are lucky, we have a republican majority in the House, Senate and our Governor is a republican. We used to be blue and now we are red. It is possible to turn your State around. We have had folks moving in from both coasts.

It can happen for you.

There is no “good money “.

The whole of the G-8 is awash in debt and we can’t all devalue simultaneously.

It is what it is.

There’ll be a worldwide monetary reset with much debt being simply forgiven and taken off the books and it’s going to take guidance from the BIS ( Bank of International Settlements) which is the Central Bankers’ Bank. It’s coming and is the only way to avoid a world financial collapse.

we smugly laughed when following the collapse of the USSR, the kleptocrats, the displaced KGB folks, the former commissars all became billionaires as the Russian economy collapsed. Now we can watch it here.
