I wouldn't mind getting my magazine elongated ...any suggestions on who to send it to?

Would like the appearance of a longer mag tube, but seems too much trouble for me.
Need to cut a new dovetail and put a commercially available dovetail insert on the original area of the barrel.
Probably any competent gunsmith could handle the job.
Don't ask me about my military service or heroic acts...most of it is untrue.

An overrated Canadian site, but you may find some answers, there.

I have done it several times, not hard if you can mill a new dovetail. Otherwise best to find a competent gunsmith. MO should have several threads showing how this is done.
Keep moving forward!

Both of my Win. 94's, a .44 mag. and .356 Win. came with full length tube. They have a clamp that fastens the barrel and magazine tube together and a small screw about the size of a 8x40 going through the end of the magazine tube into the bottom of the barrel. On my Mod. 71 and Marlin 1895 I just have the small screw and no clamp and so far no issues.
You can order a tube and spring from several places, I think I used Midwest Gun Supply, just Google it. Any gun smith should find it and easy job to do. I always prefer a full length mag tube on lever guns, is there a better place to store ammo?
