A buddy of mine is looking to buy a Kimber Montana in 270 Win. I'm steering him toward the newer models with the screw on wart. I hate the wart but the newer guns have on average been much more accurate then the pre-wart. We'd consider a pre-wart if its a good shooter and doesn't have 4 bazzillion rounds down the tube.

I have a kimber 8400 270 win If interested, I am original owner. It has turned into a safe queen last several years. Very accurate with H4831sc and 140 accubonds around 100-150 rounds shot. Sending a P.M.

I can't seem to get a PM to go through the rifle is a 8400 kimber Montana it weighs 7.5 lbs with a leupold 3.5x10x40 mounted in Talley. It has been hunted but not abused.
