I make a mix I call "OMG". Recipe is:

Equal parts (about 1/4 whatever volume of the bottle you intend to store it in)

Kahlua

Tia Maria

Cointreau or Grand Marnier

Brandy

Add one to 1.5 ounces to an 8-oz mug of either coffee or hot chocolate and stir. Every time I have served it to people, their first sip is always followed by "Oh my God that's good."

Lacking that, a shot of Amaretto or Desorono is lovely.

OMG that sounds good. makes my swiss miss and generic kahlua sound like turd water.

I put milk in a pan and heat it on the woodstove. Then squirt a generous amount of Hershey's chocolate syrup in it. Stir and serve.

Fall seven times, stand up eight.

I drink a glass of chocolate milk just about every day using Hershey's 'cause it's soooo good but for hot chocolate it's pretty lame.

Bought some Starbucks premium. I like Swiss Miss better, but it is ok mixed half and half.

Used to put a shot of Kalua in it sometimes, usually after coming in from the cold. Now that is GOOD!

I also like putting SM in breakfast coffee - especially out camping.

I buy Abuelita (my favorite) by the sack on Amazon. I mix a little Bailys Irish Cream with mine or some Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey. Not a coffee drinker

Get this and make your own. Very simple . Much much better and cheaper

https://www.amazon.com/Ghirardelli-...&hvtargid=pla-568852842951&psc=1

Add powdered milk, or cream , a bit of corn starch, dash of non iodized salt. Hot water. Blows any commercial away. I add a touch of cayenne pepper sometimes

I like abuelita . This is better

Drost and Ghirardelli both make Dutch-processed cocoa. Ghirardelli also makes regular cocoa (non-Dutch-processed). They're different, but I like either. I just add cocoa to hot whole milk with cream. The milk has enough sugar. I would gag on anything with added sugar.

I will use Nido (powdered whole milk from Nestle in Mexico, not sure why US only seems to produced skim), or canned evaporated milk (unsweetened condensed milk) if I cannot keep fresh milk or cream like when I'm camping.

This^

The original recipe, easy to find the quantities online, I can’t remember the ratios. Beats everything else.
