Were these not all 32" originally? I have a gorgeous Supreme with exhibition grade wood.

I think most if not all were 32”. I have saw a few that were 26” and 30”, they might have been modified.

Never shot an Ithaca but the SP-10 & Browning Golds aren't bad for what they are at all.

Gas operated and heavy, so pretty easy.

Early Supreme. One of the first couple thousand made. It still measures 32" though. I do know where there is a cut SP-10 that comes with a few chokes for $1300. It has some plain wood.

I had one. Recoil didn't seem bad. But nobody but my brother would shoot it after watching me shoot it. My dad said I looked like a willow branch in a strong wind. It was a killing machine though.

Would take that long barrel over a stubby barrel any day and twice on Sunday.
Damn nice shotgun.

That's a beauty! I have an early Deluxe, but the wood is nowhere as nice as yours. We called it the "Lead Launcher"! What a killing machine!

I found a Ithaca Mag 10 with 26” barrel. Now to get some turkey loads and pattern the gun.

Years ago I bought a 10 gauge for turkey hunting. I lugged that eleven pound bastard all over the Ozark mountains until I finally got my chance at an old ridge runner. Killed him at 12 yards and immediately sold that gun to some poor unsuspecting sucker to hump the hills with. I went back to my old 12 gauge 870 Wingmaster that weighed seven pounds. A few years later I bought another seven pound 12 gauge, a Benelli M1 and I've never looked back for about 25 years now.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

I have a Winchester 1300 Short Turkey 12 gauge that I use the majority of the time but I will lug this one around a few times.

I tried to buy one this weekend that had a 28" barrel.
I offered low because it wasn't cycling. I was probably too aggressive.

Got me some Winchester Double X turkey loads and shot it today. Recoil to me was like a 12 gauge bird shot. The gun is heavy but balanced.

Had a buddy with one in the 80s. The rule was steel for 12 gauge and lead for everything else. This was the first year of non-toxic water fowling and they didn’t have steel in anything but 12 gauge. I had a 16 gauge and he went 10. Killed like crazy with those big long banana green Remington roll crimp 3.5 magnums and the Ithaca piled them up. Only fault was my buddy couldn’t get his 10 gauge hand loads to go off. Primer shot out the payload and the wad stuck in the barrel, ending his hunt for the day.
