I was listening to the radio this am and it gave me the idea for this thread.
What are some funny, strange, or just off the wall names of towns in your state. Here in Michigan I can think of 2, Hell and Climax.

There's a small town not far from me whose original name was Clark, but they changed the name of the town to DISH. The residents received free basic satellite television from DISH Network for ten years in exchange.
Also not far from me is a town called New Fairview. Not a funny name by any means, but up until about ten years ago it was just called "Fairview." When it was discovered that there is a town called "Fairview" just over in the next county, they changed it to New Fairview. I guess some folks just never got out and around much.
