I'm getting dizzy just looking at that pic!

Bro Beavious, I just happened to stop at the C-store.

Pretty sure one of the two items purchased will get me sooner or later.....

"Chinese Candy Bar", LOL!
I tried chewing once about 40 years ago, and that was the stuff. Found it just wasn't for me.

My one and only taste was when I was 15. Working with neighbor branding some calves.
The old cowboys were carving off a chew and Fred asked if wanted to give it a try. Wanting to be a cowboy myself, I said sure. Put a curl in my mouth and within a few minutes a calf kicked me in the chest and I swallowed that damn thing.

Spent the rest of the afternoon hurling my guts out and listening to the cowboys laughing.

Just think what might have happened if you were eating muff and she accidentally kicked you in your sack?

Get back on that pony, and ride hard cowboy.

I'm 64 and have been on the chew of some sort since I was sixteen or so. Tried to quit once but only made it two weeks. Promised myself that I would never put myself through that kind of hell ever again.

That’s the dealio.

I quit smoking many, many, moons ago without issue.

Tried several times to roll back the dipping. Wife was begging me start chewing.

Ass-hole was my name for those weeks off the can.

Quit about 4-5 years ago. I can’t have a single dip, or I am back on it. I spend the majority of my day outside and in the wilderness or on the lake. It’s too easy for me to get back on it.

One is too many, and a million is never enough.

I chewed Kodiak wintergreen.

Old Man Chu ran the little neighborhood grocery down the hill from my friend's place. Back in the day when kid's could go get smokes and chew for their folks. Buddy's dad would say "Run down to Chu's and tell him to give you one of them Chinese candy bars".

First time I tried it was about 14 or so. Had already been smoking for a few years. We were up on their roof changing out a TV antenna, remember those things? His dad took a bite, I said what's that stuff like. He said "Here, have a chew, don't take too much though"

Sam mentioned getting dizzy. I took a chunk, chewed it a bit to get it going, as soon as it started hitting the back of my throat and I started getting dizzy I thought "I'm gonna puke and fall off this roof".

I continued to smoke/chew/snort snuff for another 20 or so years.

Tobbaco products are a valuable commodity in a war zone.

Smokes and dip.

Things can get ugly fast if ya run out of tobacco....

I used ta dip on night ops all the time.
Keep ya level when ya cant smoke.
Cope long cut.
Can last me 4 or 5 days.
Just enough to take the edge off at times.

Metal lid preferred.
Plastic lid export will suffice .

Havent dipped since summer of 07 out at Ft Lewis when I was a Day Walker on STX Lanes for cadet command.
Cant smoke in front of the nuggs.
But ya could dip....
Policy of someone with a pet peeve up the food chain trying to impart their morality on others.

If they let me smoke some of them groid cadets and females mighta got better sqd ldr tactical evals.

LOL!!!

That's the secret.

My old man was a 5 pack of cigars smoker a day........for years.

Up and quit one day.

Few years later the neighbor was over, I'd quit too by then. Neighbor asked "What's the secret?" The old man said "don't smoke the first one. If I do, I'm up the block at the liquor store getting a pack and I'll smoke them straight through".

Much as I want a smoke some days, or a chew, I have to tell myself no way.
